What causes AdBlue injectors to block?

This happens when small amounts of AdBlue leak or evaporate, leaving behind urea deposits. Over time, these deposits harden and form crystals, often clogging injector nozzles or other parts of the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system

Where is AdBlue injected?

AdBlue is injected from the vehicle's dedicated AdBlue storage tank into the exhaust pipe, which is in front of the SCR catalyst, but downstream of the engine. As it is heated in the exhaust, the AdBlue changes into ammonia (NH₃) and carbon dioxide (CO₂).
